This is my review of the Conrad Tokyo.

I’ve been to the Conrad Tokyo for a few times now and I think I’ve gotten a good sense of the hotel and my rating of it. From the hotel room, I’ve been able to get cool shots like these. Given the fact I’m also a Hilton Diamond member, generally I get upgraded to the higher level rooms.
Let’s go with the amenities.
Breakfast
Breakfast at the Conrad is always a great treat whether you’re in the Executive Lounge or just in the main lobby. One of my favorite dishes to get for breakfast there is the Lobster Omelette. The bisque on it is very good and the piece of Lobster is very delicious and delicate. There is an entire buffet of items as well but there is a special menu you get to order one item from.

They have a menu to choose from with many options in the morning such as scrambled eggs, chawanmushi, or a HUGE avocado toast.

The only downside is you can only choose one item during busy hours but we’ve been able to get more than one item a few times.
Room
The room is spectacular, the room we generally book is the King City View or King Bay View depending on our preference. The room has a wonderful view of the bay and has been able to get me many cool shots of Tokyo.
Let’s talk about upgrades though. Being a diamond member got me from the 32nd floor to the 36th and 37th floor before just buying a base room with the Conrad and they’ve also given us great deals in getting suites for a few nights for an extra $100-200 USD per night. I’ve never taken those deals as I rarely stay past 2 nights but I think staying 3-4 nights, it could be worth to unpack in those rooms and relax a little more.

The bed is very comfortable coming from companies such as Frette for their sheets and pillows. The sheets are very comfortable and I am rarely hot or cold with their 300 linen count. It also comes with free pajamas to use and they are very comfortable.

The room also comes with 6 nespresso pods with 2 flavors of each, I had forgotten which flavors they give but it’s a good selection. They give 2 bottles of water with a metal cap so a bottle opener has to be used in order to take off the cap.
The robe in the bathroom is from Garnier Thiebaut which makes amazing robes and I am seriously considering purchasing one after wearing it after using it at the Conrad.
The only bad thing with the Conrad is how far out it is from other areas of Tokyo like Shinjuku, Skytree, or Shibuya.
Experience
The Conrads of the Hilton brand always give great service especially if you are able to get into the Executive Lounge or use it. We had to check in at 3PM on our first day but were able to drop off our luggage at 6AM on the day of. We also had to check out at noon but was able to leave our luggage there til 8PM. This worked out great for us as our flights were not in ideal positions to just carry luggage all day and all the staff at the Conrad Tokyo were amazing.
Let’s get to my review. Here’s how my rating system works.

Overall Score: 4.5/5
In my opinion, the Conrad Tokyo is a luxurious comfort with standout service. A little far from the action, but worth the stay if you are trying to unwind from the busyness of Tokyo.
